CCI was started in 2000 by two retired  PriceWaterhouseCoopers Health Care Information Technology Partners and a Health Information Management Systems Society Chief Information Officer of the year who was also the founder of the standards organization Health Level-7. Our objective was to assemble a team of very senior IT professionals that would work for clients on key strategic projects. We have no vendor or outsourcing affiliations, do not sell, resell or develop software so that we can provide independent, objective support. On average, our consultants have over 30 years experience, and many have worked for vendors and as CIO’s before becoming consultants. The firm is committed to providing senior experienced consulting resources to health care clients at competitive rates.

The staff experience available to CCI exceeds the firms full time staff. Through existing formal agreements with both technical and functional specialty firms we are able to provide a wide scope of business and industry expertise. This additional dimension allows our clients to draw upon the most knowledgeable resources in the field to address complex problems. Our resource relationships extend from a big four consulting firm to emerging technology, process improvement and product specific firms. When such expertise is appropriate, CCI assembles, manages and retains overall responsibility for the services provided. The staff of CCI have years of experience working for health care clients. Further, our agreements will meet the security requirements of the HIPAA regulations for a consulting business partner.
